Fundraising Coordinator Role

The role:
  • Fundraising Coordinators are tasked with managing the fundraising process for Unconsenting Media from the initial idea stage all the way through to execution;
  • You will be a creative, driven individual who feels comfortable taking the initiative, pitching your own ideas and following your projects through;
  • You will be responsible for recruiting volunteers who will help you to implement your project;
  • You will, with the help of other members of the Unconsenting Media team, ensure that your fundraising project/s are effectively publicised, to maximise their reach and profitability;
  • You will produce and publish a full financial report for each of your fundraising projects according to Unconsenting Media's financial transparency guidelines;
  • You will regularly liaise with a Regional or University Coordinator, with whom you will discuss plans, budgets and your progress. This will also be your first point of contact within Unconsenting Media, who will handle any difficulties or queries that you may have.
What will you get?
  • A demonstrated ability to manage budgets, prioritise commercial objectives and turn a profit;
  • Evidence that you are creative and practical enough to take ideas from the blue-sky ideas phase through to a profitable execution;
  • Experience working within the fundraising arm of a growing non-profit organisation;
  • This role is flexible: you can take on a one-off fundraising project or conduct them as regularly as you would like, or as suits your schedule. This will be discussed after the initial application phase;
  • This role can be tackled from any location, as long as you feel able to handle the requirements listed above.
