Description

There are several episodes where child abuse is discussed. These topics are discussed in a way that always condemns them and the perpetrators are always punished in some way (e.g. jail mostly). S1E3: multiple sex tapes involve high schoolers. One of the sex tapes involves an older lady and a male high schooler. His exact age is not mentioned, but his lawyer says that he is a victim of statutory rape. S1E5: this episode is about a young boy who was sexually assaulted and then murdered. S1E7: a man is suspected to having an affair with a 17 year old and later murdering her (18:00). It is confirmed by an FBI agent (21:30). Throughout the episode, the FBI and forensics team tries to find evidence that that the man did have an affair with the 17 year old and later killed her. The man was charged with statutory rape but he was not the murderer. S1E17: it is briefly mentioned that a female told her brother that she was raped (17:30-17:40). The FBI is just using this as an example that could be considered in the case. It is worth mentioning that this was just an example as to why a man died, there was not anything remotely relating to sexual assault in this episode. S1E19: a woman mentions that she requested a rape kit, due to her not having anything of the day before and being all bruised and bloody (5:20-5:26). It is found that there was not anything remotely relating sign of sexual activity, forced or otherwise. The same woman is the main suspect in a murder. She is told to take a plea deal, which involves her saying that someone tried to rape her and that it was just self defense (29:20-29:25). Once again, nothing sexual actually happened. S2E3: it is mentioned that a guy is a pervert with three solicitation of minor charges of girls which he admits (19:00-19:15). The FBI interrogates him and mentions that 3 girls said that they exchanged sex for sandwiches in the past six months (22:35-22:58). He denies these claims, saying that they were angry at him. Later, his wife says that she killed him because he was just using her to get to young girls for years (32:50-32:54). S2E4: it is said that a female murder victim had an affair with her golf coach (27:05-27:15). The golf coach originally suspected that he killed the murder victim, but his alibi was that he was having an affair with another one of his students at the time. It is not mentioned if the second student was underaged or not. S2E6: a woman mentions that the sex between a recently dead woman and a man might not have been consensual due to finding semen inside her (15:18-15:25). It is suspected that a man that has diplomatic immunity raped and murdered the dead woman, who is now thought to be a victim (20:40-20:55). All of this is dismissed as they found out that it was in fact consensual and that the sex was part of the reason as to why she died. S2E13: a murder victim is raped and killed after rejecting the sexual advances of a character who is charged for filming underage girls in a pornographic way and taking advantage of girls too drunk to consent (to film them). Two men notice what he did, but did not do anything about it. S8E16: this episode is about a teenage girl who was drugged and raped at a party. A witness discusses with her psychocologist that she felt like she had been rape. S10E6: he plot revolves around human trafficking. The victim of the episode was human trafficked to America, and in China, she has been sold into prostitution by her father. Throughout, the idea that the victim was sexually assaulted is discussed multiple times at length and in great detail.
