The main character is a police officer working on a case where the perpetrator holds little girls at knifepoint and gropes them. It is brought up a few times but never shown- S1E1: the main character's daughter is getting groomed by the perpetrator but he does not get the chance to assault her. In season 2, there are multiple scenes where a man threatens to rape his cousin. He is physically violent with her and other women. A teenage girl is raped and forced to give birth twice. Two of the rapes are onscreen A teenage girl is raped by her older half-brother onscreen. He claims she and her mother are both prostitutes. It's implied most of the men in the village have sexually abused her. She later offers a group of bandits sexual favors in exchange for her life A lot of women are raped onscreen when their family's being massacred The onscreen rapes are disturbing but they are not shot in a sexualized way. They are framed as horrifying and tragic.
