Description
The book is about a teenage girl who goes missing, and the police do not take the matter seriously because she is a Black girl from a poor neighborhood.
The protagonist, her brother, spends the book trying to figure out what happens to her and eventually finds that she was kidnapped and held hostage by college frat boys, at least one of whom attempted to rape her.
