His mother rushes out of the house to save him and brings him inside and runs him a bath. She convinces him not to tell the police or else he’ll be known as “the boy that was abused in the shed” by the whole town forever. It is uncertain if he was sexually abused or not, but the commentary from the mother can be triggering to survivors of assault.
