Description

One male character takes advantage of the fact that the main female character is drunk, and the plot suggests he had sex with her (she was drunk and he was sober). He even uses this to blackmail her, saying “you did that to me,” as if she had taken advantage of him, and uses it as a reason to pressure her into marrying him. At the same time, up until the second episode, the plot does not clearly explain whether something actually happened that night or if it is just a misunderstanding on his part—especially since he seems to have never had a relationship with another woman before. Still, the narrative uses drunken sex as both a device to bring the characters closer and a source of humor. If something did happen, she was very drunk and he was not—so she could not give proper consent, but he had the capacity to stop it. And if nothing happened, it is still troubling because he uses the situation to manipulate her into marriage. All of this unfolds up until the second episode, where it becomes clear she does not want to marry him.
