Description

One of the queer main characters was sex trafficked after his homophobic parents kicked him out at 17. His ongoing physical, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse is clear throughout the book. Most of the violence occurs offscreen, but towards the end he escapes an attempted rape, and then his primary abuser nearly murders him. He ultimately escapes his abusive & exploitative situation entirely.
