Description

This anime takes place in the low-fantasy genre of omegaverse, where humans are assigned one of three secondary genders. One secondary gender is seen as more dominant (alpha), one type is seen as neutral (beta), and the third type is seen as more submissive (omega). A major plot point in the final two episodes of season one revolves around an omega man being fearful of and avoiding some of the main characters due to their secondary gender. While it is never outright stated, he implies that he believes that he and his young son are at risk of being raped by anyone of the alpha secondary gender. The show makes it clear that this is a stereotype, that this 'instinct' for alphas to have sex with omegas can be overcome, that it does not dictate people's actions, and that people of all secondary genders can live peacefully together without a risk of harm.
