Volume 1: a patient in a mental hospital describes how she and another young woman were repeatedly raped by hospital employees over a period of twenty years. While drunk, a main character holds down the other main character and non-consensually kisses him. The book acknowledges this as sexual harassment, and the offending character is horrified and apologizes the next morning. Volume 2: discussion of prostitution and the sexual harassment from Volume 1. The 19 year old main character drugs and violently rapes the adult main character in a scene lasting dozens of pages.
