Description

The female protagonist makes repeated oblique references to "what happened" with an older man who raped her when she was 17. She tells the story in chapter 25, focusing on her psychological experience and how she fought him off. Her caregiver deliberately positioned her as a Lolita-type sexualized object when she was a child and teen. She suffers trauma from these various experiences.
