Description

S1E2: a serial killer is thwarted from raping and killing a woman, but finds another victim, and does this to her. S1E11: lengthy scene of a man who breaks into a woman's house and attempts to rape her. It is pretty realistic and disturbing. He gets as far as pinning her against a table and touching her without consent and saying some nasty things before she grabs a knife and he flees. He later returns to try to murder her. He is shown physically abusing her in another lengthy scene where she describes it in detail. He also very obviously gets a woman drunk at a bar in order to rape her, telling her to drink and ordering her more shots and beer when she's already clearly very drunk. He is shown slapping and punching her and we return to the scene the woman is being wheeled into an ambulance on a gurney. S1E13: a man abuses his power to rape an underage girl and then kidnaps her. S2E7: a woman kisses and undresses in front of the main character who is tied up and tells him "Relax your lips I can't get my tongue in", she tells him she wants to have his baby, and attempts to rape him. She is stopped when she sees another woman videotaping her. S2E10: a man will not take a women's "no" for an answer and keeps pursuing her at night down the street, eventually trying to rape her until he is interrupted by another man. There is then a second violent scene of two men grappling with her in her bed. S2E15: a man uses a woman's upset state of mind to take advantage of her, but is interrupted. S3E2: a main female character is trapped in a room with a known predatory male character who leans over her ominously and creepily says things to imply that he's going to do something to her physically. Another man knocks out the guard and then finds her before anything happens, but the scene is very tense and uncomfortable. S5E11: a man says something like people are raping the American dream. It's sudden and jarring as the first line of the episode but not gratuitous.
