The rape is between a female character who has previously had sex with an older male character in order to get drugs. During her addiction recovery, she is alone at work and he corners her. He tells her she can take it “good” or take it “through a beating”. She is raped in a separate room, and while it is technically off camera, we as viewers can hear the assault. Later in the film, the character discusses the assault with her brother. She confides that she “came” when he raped her. It is implied she feels guilt about the event.
