Description

One of the protagonists begins the book in an abusive relationship with his long-term girlfriend. He breaks up with her after she slaps him while he is driving, and she tries throughout the whole book to manipulate him into getting back together with her. She reveals at one point that she's pregnant and uses blackmail to try to get this protagonist to end his relationship with the other romantic lead. The protagonist informs her that her manipulation will not make him love her again, and that her forcing him to be with her again is non-consensual.
