Description

The series revolves around the crime of real-life serial killer John Wayne Gacy, who was convicted of rape, torture, and murder of teenage boys and young men. References of rape are made throughout the show, though no actual act occurs on-screen. S1E4: a flashback shows a morgue staff naked, embracing with a man's corpse. Another scene has a man playing pornographic films for a group of teenage boys. S1E5: a young man is pressured by investigators to confess that he was raped by another man. S1E6: a man initiates the idea of oral sex to an uncomfortable boy. The scene cuts away without showing anything further. Another scene shows a man attempting to rape a handcuffed boy but abruptly stopping, letting the youth free momentarily. The man again approached him with a rope and hammer as the scene cuts to black, implying rape and murder. S1E7: two separate, brief flashbacks recount the events following the kidnapping, rape and torture of two men.
