The female main character is repeatedly raped by male lead, while she does not say "no", she does admit she is afraid he will kill her or hurt her and expresses deep hatred for the act. The book goes in detail of the "sexual experience" from her point of view. The protagonist is almost raped by two other male characters on seperate occasions. She is raped by male lead again later on while pregnant. A female side character makes out with a male main character and expresses disgust later. It is implied that she sleeps with another male lead for information The male lead describes raping multiple women using the term "Its not like I forced them" despite admitting to threatening their lives or being "rough". Lots of the rapes or sexual assaults are discloses as just the male lead being "rough" where the women then shut down in fight or flight mode. The protagonist wishes to press charges for the multiple counts of rape but then admits that she does not have proof other than testimony and therefore drops the charges. The male lead gets off on murder charge claiming the man he killed was about to rape his girlfriend. The male lead mentions in passing of a news story about a girl being raped and the man only getting a few months because "he was white or he got a medal or some shit" and wonders if he would also make the news if he was wealthy. The male lead tampers with the female main characters birth control in hopes of baby trapping her.
