A teenage girl is held against her will, chained to a bed in a bomb shelter, by a former boyfriend. A woman is killed in a diner, and a teenage girl tries to stop it but is knocked unconscious. One of the assailants tries to then rape her, but is stopped by another man. The attempted rape is explicitly discussed between police officers as they search for the assailants. S3E1: a man points a knife at a woman with her wrists tied, and tells her that he is not going to kill her because he might need her for repopulation.
