Sex the viewer thinks is consensual is later revealed to be sex with someone who is involved in a plot to kill the other person S1E5: rape is almost shown on screen but it can be heard (struggling and crying sounds in the background). Rape is implied earlier in the show. S1E6: it is revealed that a different character was raped. At a birthday party for two 16 year old girls, three adult men invited by some of the girls friends attempt to rape a 16 year old girl, when one of her friends steps in to save her. They then rape her instead (27:34-28:38). One of her friends encourages this saying "just use her I'll give you a discount", and the rapist says "I'm going to give this bitch a birthday present she'll never fucking forget". The rape is shown on screen, of a 16 year old by an adult man, with two other adult men present. It is filmed and her friends do not stop the men: in fact it was a set up by her "friends", who then proceed to sing happy birthday to her, as she is being raped. It is a key part of the plot and a large part of the main reveal of the show. Worthy of note: The rape victim murders the perpetrators who lured her into the situation. everyone who was around at the time that it happened and helped cover it up.
