Description
One of the male leads is financially entangled to the antagonist, his male abusive ex-lover.
Few details are given but it is clear that the protagonist was around 19 when the considerably older antagonist first love-bombed and then emotionally and financially abused him, with some implication of physical and/or sexual abuse.
During the story their only entanglement is financial, but the protagonist is clearly struggling with trauma from this and other (non-sexual/romantic) abusive relationships in his life.
