S1E2: in a gangster’s quarters, a man is surrounded by women who appear to be afraid of him. They do not seem to be there by choice. Shortly after they are told to leave, the main character insults him for keeping teens around. It is implied that he keeps them around for sex, possibly as they’re sex trafficked or pimped out. S1E3: after a raid, a gangster loses significant product. He must report to a superior at a bath house. When he arrives, he is told to strip. The superior justifies this as a means to check him because he could be the mole responsible for the raid. The gangster is visibly scared. It cuts to a scene where they’re both sitting in a bath, very close. The superior lays his hand on the gangsters thigh and moves it up his thigh which causes the gangster to become even more scared. It is implied that perhaps this superior has done something inappropriate to either him or others and this touching is not welcome and is used as a means of threatening him.
