While investigating, a woman listens to a recording where a man is trying to coerce a woman into sex. The recording stops after she tells him to take his hand off her. Later she tells the investigator that she was raped when that recording was taken. The woman told the captain what happened, but she was ignored and when the rapist attempted to rape her again she killed him. There is a flashback showing the man trying to flush her out of hiding, but the scene and verbal description is non-graphic in terms of the actual assault.
