The subtext of the film is women reporting violence and not being believed. We see an actress having sex in a filmed scene, the male actor starts hitting her, she is screaming, and eventually murdered while having sex. A man watches a woman in a towel through binoculars. A woman in a robe is being attacked and the attacker lifts her robe to imply he will assault her, he does not.
