Description

Worthy of Note: Although there is no sexual violence or sexual content of any kind in this book, there are repeated references to the book Soul on Ice by Eldridge Cleaver. The opening essay of Soul on Ice explores how Cleaver intentionally became a rapist, specifically targeting white women, in anger over the lynching of Emmett Till. He admits his wrongdoing later in the same essay. Flying Kites does not discuss this part of the book, though, just showing the cover in a few scenes and quoting one or two statements.
