Description

One teenage protagonist's internal monologue briefly mentions being street harassed by adult men. This same protagonist has a male friend who reveals romantic feelings to her, knowing that she is already in a relationship. He bemoans that she "fucks everyone but him" and makes it clear that he did not genuinely want to be her platonic friend. Throughout the book, he attempts to sabotage the protagonist's relationship and try to manipulate her into dating him instead.
