Early in the film, the main character is raped on-screen: she says that she is too drunk to do anything and then says 'stop' and wait repeatedly. The scene lasts about 15 seconds without nudity and ends with her pushing him off of her. She has flashbacks to this scene throughout the film and is traumatized. In a car, women share stories about various instances of rape and sexual assault in their lives. Later, a group of men chase her and try to get her into their car. These same men stalk and kill members of the group but it is not clear whether they rape or sexually assault them. Overall sexual violence is central to the film and normalized. There is a fair amount of gaslighting as well.
