S1E1: the protagonist, a servant at a brothel, is about to have her virginity sold to the man in her city who has bid the highest. She makes it clear to everyone at the brothel that she does not consent to this arrangement and talks about trying to escape, but no one cares and they insist she go through with it. She is rescued before this can happen. A group of bandits finds the protagonist in the forest and they discuss their plan to take turns sexually assaulting her before they kill her. She is once again rescued before anything happens. S1E3: a man notices that the protagonist needs something from his shop which she cannot afford, and tries to convince her to have sex with him in exchange for it. She is disgusted and refuses this offer. S1E7: a man who has commissioned the kidnap of the protagonist is revealed to have been infatuated with the protagonist's late mother, whom she now looks exactly like. He is clearly enamored with her, seeming to view her as a sort of "replacement goldfish" for her mother. This is framed as both sad and disconcerting.
