A female character tells another female character that her father sexually abused her as a child, providing details how he did it. She also explains that he allowed his friends to sexually assault her. Her detailing this feels inappropriate as they do not know each other well. A lawyer tells the female protagonist that the other woman imprisoned two young boys in her basement and sexually assaulted them. The lawyer is trying to show that she had enemies who would want to harm her or want her dead.
