A girl is dumbed down to just having a pretty body and face: a man watches her change several times and we later find out she knew about it but says it happens all the time and she has gotten used to it. During the scenes, there is a lot of zooming in on her body or focus on the man’s mouth. One of the characters says she “fell in love”: it is talked about as a positive plot point but then she reveals it is a teacher they had in high school. Although they have been graduated for ten years and we are not exclusively told when this happened, it is an adult relationship that started with someone she knew and looked up to as a child so it seems to be a grooming plot. It is even more frustrating that she is one of the openly queer characters, once again making queer people have predators for partners in media.
