Description
In the opening sequence of the movie, the 11-year-old female protagonist is grabbed by a couple of men in a Needle Park. She quickly escapes.
It is heavily implied that a side character (another young girl) is beaten by her father.
It is hinted that the protagonist's mother (a junkie) has sex with men to buy drugs.
