Description
The context of the book is that most cis women have the ability to do magic and most cis men do not. Throughout the book, there is a terrorist, religiously motivated group that tries to outlaw the use and teaching of this magic and make women subservient. At their demonstrations, they make rape threats as well as misogynist and whorephobic statements towards women.
Aside from the above, there are several scenes where men catcall women sprinkled throughout the book.
