Worth of note: in a tale told by another character, a man spies on a woman as she bathes nude and then steals her clothes, refusing to give them back unless she has sex with him. The woman says that she will not unless he agrees to certain conditions as well, which he agrees to while planning to find a way around them, and then they have sex. The coercive circumstances of this encounter may make some readers uncomfortable.
