Description
The female protagonist is in an abusive relationship with an older man throughout the film. He forces her to prostitute herself, after which he will steal the money from her (no sex is shown on-screen, however they do show her being physically and emotionally abused, as well as approaching men for sex that she does not want to have). This is a big plot point of the entire movie.
