A male character intends to offer the female protagonist a position on his research team if she “fucks him”. He says he will ruin her reputation in the science research field and steal her work for himself if she does not comply. This is all said when he corners her in a room alone. The lead protagonist asks to kiss the male protagonist before he can respond. They discuss and even he brings up writing a Title IX complaint (US law prohibiting sex discrimination) until she explains why she did it. They later end up fake dating.
